DESCRIPTION
Villa dei Papiri is a typical old Sicilian farm house built in the 19th century on 13 hectares of palms, olive trees, orange and citrus groves. It is located 6km from the ancient town of Siracusa, in the midst of the Ciane-Saline natural reserve which is surrounded by unique papyrus. The farm is consisting of eight suites from 2 to 5 beds and sixteen double rooms in an annexe: all of these totally secluded and quiet, provided with air conditioning/heater, bathroom, television, fridge, and an equipped kitchen in the suites. So close to the mythological enchantment of Siracusa, Villa dei Papiri is the loveliest place to relax and enjoy the beauties of the area.

From CATANIA and SIRACUSA-GELA:
Exit the highway towards SIRACUSA, at the first traffic light turn right towards Canicattini, and go straight for 400mt and at the roundabout turn right, then turn left (to contrada Cozzo Pantano) and go on for 1km. On the leften side turn to Fonte Ciane and Villa dei Papiri.
From SS115:
after the town of Cassibile, next to Siracusa and off a “Q8” petrol station turn left to FONTE CIANE, and go on for 2km following the indications to SIRACUSA or FONTE CIANE. Turn to the side street on the right to Fonte Ciane, and Villa dei Papiri.
