DESCRIPTION
This old block of country buildings was built at the end of the 19th century and it has been fully restored. It has an interior courtyard and a picturesque farmhouse, where the farmer and his family live; it is composed of two lovely old flats, which are available all year long. The block is located at 8 km from Marina di Ragusa, which is a very well known sea resort in the South East coast of Sicily, and 9 km from Ragusa, famous for its Baroque buildings and for Ragusa Ibla, its old historical centre full of Baroque churches, stately palaces, small streets and evocative stairways.
The villa offers a very relaxing country holiday but lively attractions are available at the sea-side resorts in the area if you wish: Marina di Ragusa, Punta Secca, Donnalucata, Sampieri, Pozzallo, (from where you can reach the Island of Malta by catamaran for a one day visit) are full of animation, shops, some of the most famous discotheques in Eastern Sicily, restaurants and outdoor cinemas.

By plane:
to Catania, then by bus that leaves for Ragusa directly from the Airport every hour, then by car take the provincial road n.25 for Marina di Ragusa and at about 10 km turn to the right always following the indication "Contrada Carcara", then you finally arrive at the sign "Villa Carcara".
By car: from Catania to Ragusa on the main road (highway) n.514 (90km) as you arrive near Ragusa take the exit sign for Marina di Ragusa, at about 6 km turn right following the indication "Contrada Carcara", then you finally arrive at the sign "Il Baglio".

The villa is available all year round for period of one or more weeks soyourn, it begins on saturday afternoon until 10 a m of the next saturday. For each week after the first one a 10% discount shall be applied.
All the above prices include gas, water, electricity, heating firewood, and the change of the linen (sheets and towels).
Apartment final cleaning € 60,00; Ground floor: until €120.
In winter,in the first floor, the consumption of electricity and electrical heaters is extra and will be calculated by an initial and final reading of the electrical counter.
